In 2003, Steve Romeyn and Mark Carruth founded Windsong Properties to serve the Active Adult homebuyer exclusively. His prior three decades of homebuilding and development experience in Atlanta contributed greatly to the success of Windsong.

In 2019, Steve stepped back from the management of Windsong Properties. Steve now has time to enjoy his daughters and grandchildren in Los Angeles, Bali, and Nairobi and to travel the world finding inspiration for new designs.
