Each year, Windsong Properties hosts a special anniversary event for its trade partners, vendors and the Windsong team. Recently, the builder’s 11th Anniversary Celebration was held at the clubhouse at Bel-Aire, an active adult community in Powder Springs. Guests were encouraged to bring donations for Toys for Tots, a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve program to collect toys for children in need. “Our trade partners help us provide extraordinary homes and a low maintenance lifestyle for our buyers, and we truly value and appreciate their hard work," stated Steve Romeyn, managing partner of Windsong Properties. “This event gives us an opportunity to thank them, as well as make an impact on the local community. We choose a different organization to support each year, and we are privileged to be assisting Toys for Tots at a time when many children are wondering if they will get anything for Christmas." The Toys for Tots program collects new, unwrapped toys throughout the state. The toys are then stored in warehouses, sorted by age and gender and distributed at Christmas to less fortunate children. At Windsong Properties’ event, Marines were able to accept two boxes and additional bags of toys that were donated by 125 guests. The celebration continued with southern cuisine from Slope’s BBQ and an invitation to tour Bel-Aire’s model home.
