In 2023, the first Windsong homes and communities celebrate their 20th anniversary, marking two decades of easy living with spacious homes filled with natural light, plenty of storage, wide sidewalks and amenities to encourage outdoor activities, plus plenty of neighbors who become friends. And, of course, each Windsong neighborhood is strategically located for ease of travel, shopping, dining, and interaction with the overall community of which it is a part.
These days, everywhere you look there’s a new “stress-relieving” remedy.
What we have to remember is, stress has been a part of humans for as long as there have been humans. And just as the triggers and symptoms of stress are different for everyone, so are the ways of relieving it, or of minimizing our susceptibility.
Although stress has been around forever, people have sought stress relief in some form or fashion, with a focus on mental, physical, and emotional health. In April 1992, Stress Awareness Month was introduced, and it has been an annual focus ever since.

For two decades, Windsong has developed homes and neighborhoods in communities where Active Adults have found renewed vitality, vigor, and joie de vivre. Single-story living, with bonus rooms and ample storage, mean plenty of space for hobbies, guests, and designated space for seasonal décor and keepsake items, making right-sizing an easy decision.
When we think about what makes a great kitchen, the first things that come to mind include modern appliances, proper lighting, ample storage, and a central space that makes the kitchen the heart of the home.
We think about how we will use the space, but rarely consider how the space will work for us.
March is Nutrition Month, so it’s the perfect time to give your kitchen makeover
The sun doesn’t care what time we humans say it is. The birds are still going to start singing with the dawn – whether it occurs at 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. And your dog or cat is still going to be staring at you, waiting for breakfast at “tummy time,” since their internal clocks don’t leap forward (or fall back).
Either way, this Sunday, at 1:59 a.m., we will Spring Forward one hour, “losing an hour of sleep,” as we participate in this century-old tradition.

Who complains about this shortest month?
The weather unpredictable
One holiday, celebrating love
Once broken, is it fixable?
Romantic love, a love of friends,
February is National Bird-Feeding Month, which makes sense, as several varieties of migrating birds begin their annual trek as soon as trees and shrubs begin setting buds.
If you’ve had bird feeders out all winter, you will have noticed the non-migrating birds, like blue jays, woodpeckers, and the like, have enjoyed the feast. But they’ll soon have to share as robins, tanagers, grosbeaks, thrushes, and orioles start on their journeys to northern climes.
